The IMPULS3 for Engineers page has been brought under configuration control as CI-PAGE-0004. Version 1.0 establishes the initial controlled baseline of the page.
The page introduces IMPULS3 from an engineering perspective and explains what distinguishes the framework through seven core principles. These principles address the description of systems through functions, properties and constraints; quantification of required properties; meaning-preserving traceability; intrinsic and extrinsic requirements quality; consistent use of precisely defined concepts; independent identity of information elements; and the context carried by relationships.
The seven principles are presented using a consistent visual structure: a concise explanation followed by an explicitly identified IMPULS3 Principle. This establishes a reusable pattern for communicating normative principles throughout the IMPULS3 website.

Page-level configuration control of the IMPULS3 Definitions page has been discontinued. The page is henceforth treated as a publication surface for the individually controlled definitions it contains rather than as an independently controlled Configuration Item.
The individual definitions remain under configuration control as independent CI-DEF-* Configuration Items. Their identity, version, modification date, and associated Change ID continue to be maintained independently.
This change improves the granularity of configuration management. Changes to an individual definition can now be detected, assessed, versioned, and recorded against the affected definition itself without causing the complete Definitions page to be reported as changed.
Configuration Item CI-PAGE-0001 and its existing change history are retained for historical traceability. No controlled definition has been removed or modified as a consequence of this change.

The definition of Stakeholder has been revised to provide a more explicit description of the different ways in which an individual, group, or organization may have a stakeholder relationship with a system.
The revised definition recognizes having an interest in the system, influencing the system or decisions concerning it, being affected by the system, and perceiving oneself to be affected by the system as possible stakeholder relationships.
The previous explicit reference to a system itself being a stakeholder has been removed. The revised wording therefore more clearly positions a Stakeholder as an individual, group, or organization having an interest in, influence on, or relationship with the system.

Two new definitions have been added to the IMPULS3 information model: Functional Element and Physical Element. Both terms are introduced as controlled Configuration Items and form part of the architectural concepts underlying the Integrated Engineering System Structure (IESS).
A Functional Element represents a functionally coherent part of the system architecture, while a Physical Element represents a physically coherent part, location, compartment, assembly, or spatial subdivision. Together, they provide the functional and physical contexts in which Building Blocks are organized.
