This page provides a transparent record of changes to controlled content on the IMPULS3 website. Each controlled information element is identified as a Configuration Item (CI). Changes are recorded with a unique Change ID, version, date, description, and direct link to the affected content.
Date: 14 August 2026
Affected Configuration Item: CI-PAGE-0002
Previous version: 1.0
New version: 1.1
Change type: Content modification
The content of the Integrated Engineering System Structure (IESS) page has been updated. The modification further develops the published explanation of the IESS while retaining the identity of the page as Configuration Item CI-PAGE-0002.
As this is the first substantive modification since the page was brought under configuration control, the controlled page version has been incremented from version 1.0 to version 1.1.
Date: 14 August 2026
Affected Configuration Item: CI-PAGE-0002
Version: 1.0
Change type: Initial configuration
The Integrated Engineering System Structure (IESS) page has been brought under formal configuration control as a page-level Configuration Item. The current state of the page is established as version 1.0.
The page describes the Integrated Engineering System Structure and its relationship with the IMPULS3 framework, including the functional and physical perspectives on system architecture, Building Blocks, and their relationships.
No substantive content change was made as part of this activity. This change establishes the current published IESS page as its initial controlled configuration.
Date: 14 August 2026
Affected Configuration Item: CI-PAGE-0001
Version: 1.0
Change type: Initial configuration
The IMPULS3 Definitions page has been brought under formal configuration control as a page-level Configuration Item. The current state of the page is established as version 1.0.
The page-level Configuration Item controls the composition and organization of the Definitions page, while the individual definitions remain independently controlled Configuration Items with their own identities, versions, and change histories.
At the time of this initial configuration, the page contains 16 controlled definition Configuration Items (CI-DEF-0001 through CI-DEF-0016).
No substantive content change was made as part of this activity. This change establishes the initial controlled configuration of the Definitions page.
Date: 14 August 2026
Affected Configuration Items: CI-DEF-0015 | CI-DEF-0016
Version: 1.0
Change type: New controlled content
Two new definitions have been added to the IMPULS3 information model: Functional Element and Physical Element. Both terms are introduced as controlled Configuration Items and form part of the architectural concepts underlying the Integrated Engineering System Structure (IESS).
A Functional Element represents a functionally coherent part of the system architecture, while a Physical Element represents a physically coherent part, location, compartment, assembly, or spatial subdivision. Together, they provide the functional and physical contexts in which Building Blocks are organized.
Configuration Items: Functional Element (CI-DEF-0015) | Physical Element (CI-DEF-0016)
Date: 14 August 2026
Affected Configuration Items: CI-DEF-0001 – CI-DEF-0014
Change type: Initial configuration baseline
All definitions currently published on the IMPULS3 Definitions page have been registered as controlled Configuration Items. Each definition now has a persistent CI identifier, version, modification timestamp, and traceability to the change through which it was brought under configuration control.
The existing content of the definitions has not been substantively changed as part of this activity. Version 1.0 represents the initial controlled version of each definition.
Configuration Items: Analysis Statement (CI-DEF-0001) | Baseline (CI-DEF-0002) | Building Block (CI-DEF-0003) | Constraint (CI-DEF-0004) | Design Decision (CI-DEF-0005) | Function (CI-DEF-0006) | Property (CI-DEF-0007) | Requirement (CI-DEF-0008) | Requirements Engineering (CI-DEF-0009) | Stakeholder (CI-DEF-0010) | Stakeholder Need (CI-DEF-0011) | System (CI-DEF-0012) | Systems Engineering (CI-DEF-0013) | Traceability (CI-DEF-0014)
Date: 14 August 2026
Configuration Item: CI-DEF-0001
Version: 1.0
Change type: Initial configuration
The existing definition of Analysis Statement has been brought under formal configuration control as the first controlled content item of the IMPULS3 website. No substantive change was made to the definition itself.
